Russia has launched 409 drones at Ukraine since this morning, with 388 of them shot down or suppressed, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Friday, UNN writes.

According to the AFU Air Force, on May 1 (from 08:00 to 15:30), the enemy attacked with 409 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones from the directions of: Shatalovo, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, occupied Donetsk, Gvardiyske – occupied Crimea; about 250 of them were "Shaheds."
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare (EW) units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 15:30, air defense shot down/suppressed 388 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types in the north, south, center, and west of the country. Hits by 16 strike UAVs were recorded at 6 locations, as well as the falling of downed drones (debris) at 11 locations
The attack continues; enemy UAVs are in the airspace.
