Putin declared readiness to investigate the drone crash in Romania after evidence is provided. Romanian authorities have already identified the drone as Russian.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin commented on the incident involving a drone crash on Romanian territory and claimed that he supposedly only recently learned about the case, UNN reports with reference to Russian media.

According to Putin, no one can currently determine the drone's origin with certainty without an expert examination.

"No one can speak to the drone's origin without conducting an expert examination," the head of the Kremlin stated.

Putin also complained that in the European Union, any drone is allegedly immediately labeled as Russian.

"The first reaction in the EU to any drone is to call it Russian, and then it turns out that it is not so," he said.

Furthermore, Putin stated that Russia is ready to conduct an "objective investigation" if the relevant materials are handed over to it.

"Russia will conduct an objective investigation and provide an assessment if it is provided with objective data regarding the drone that fell in Romania," the dictator added.
