Finnish President Alexander Stubb said that Ukraine has the right to defend itself against Russian aggression, including in the Kursk region. He said this at a press conference on Tuesday, UNN reports with reference to Yle.
According to Stubb, Ukraine has every right to defend itself by conducting an operation in the Kursk region amid constant Russian attacks on Ukrainian settlements
"We see no reason to restrict the actions of Ukrainians," Stubb said.
Stubb also noted that Ukraine could use weapons supplied by Finland on Russian territory.
"We have no restrictions on what weapons Ukraine can use and how it can use them. The starting point is that Ukraine has every right to defend itself within the framework of international law," the President of Finland said.
