Over the past day, May 1, 138 combat engagements took place at the front. Yesterday, the occupiers launched 89 airstrikes, dropping 270 guided aerial bombs. This was reported by UNN with reference to the General Staff of the AFU.

In addition, the enemy deployed 9,976 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,379 shellings of settlements and positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. In particular, 42 shellings were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
The occupiers launched airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Pysantsi in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Lisne, Kopani, Rivne, Liubytske, Huliaipilske, Mykilske, Vasynivka, Omelnyk, Orikhiv, Odarivka, Zarichne, Shchaslyve, and Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a command post, two artillery systems, an air defense system, an ammunition storage warehouse, and seven areas of concentration of the occupiers' personnel.
Also destroyed were three tanks, four armored fighting vehicles, 73 artillery systems, six multiple launch rocket systems, 2,305 unmanned aerial vehicles, 265 units of motor vehicles, and one unit of special equipment.
According to the General Staff, the situation in specific directions is as follows:
In the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, three combat engagements took place; the enemy carried out 100 shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, two of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems, and launched two airstrikes using five guided bombs.
In the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units eight times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Izbytske, Krasne Pershe, Mala Vovcha, and Fyholivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the aggressor attacked twice in the area of the settlement of Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian warriors repelled 13 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Ozerne, Druželiubivka, Lyman, Drobysheve, and Stavky.
In the Sloviansk direction, during the past day, Ukrainian troops stopped four attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Riznykivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers did not conduct any attacks over the past day.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out seven attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, and Ivanopillia.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces stopped 27 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Sofiivka, Vilne, Dorozhnie, Nove Shakhove, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Hryshyne, Novopavlivka, and toward the settlements of Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, and Zoloty Kolodiaz.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked nine times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrohrad, Krasnohirske, Kalynivske, Novohryhorivka, Yehorivka, Sichneve, and Zlahoda.
In the Huliaipole direction, 18 attacks by the occupiers took place in the areas of Varvarivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Tsvitkove, and Dobropillia.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian troops stopped one enemy attempt to advance in the area of the settlement of Stepnohirsk.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian units stopped three enemy attacks near Bilohrudyi Island and the Antonivka Bridge.
Total losses of the Russian occupiers over the past day amounted to 1,240 personnel.
