Olive oil of well-known Italian brands was counterfeited in Kyiv: dealers exposed

Clandestine production of olive oil and sauces of well-known Italian brands in Kyiv has been exposed. This was reported by the BES, UNN reports.

Residents of Kyiv and Lviv region allegedly organized the underground production of olive oil and sauces of well-known Italian brands in the capital.

The criminals used the brand name and trademarks and sold counterfeit goods through a chain of stores under the guise of original products.

One of the affected companies has already claimed that it suffered material damage on a particularly large scale.

Law enforcement officers conducted searches in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovs'k regions and seized equipment and more than 90 tons of products worth UAH 7.5 million.
