Recall

The day before, the Ukrainian world heavyweight boxing champion according to WBA, WBC, and IBF versions, Oleksandr Usyk, visited the Pentagon.

In April 2025, Oleksandr Usyk appealed to Donald Trump with a request to stop the war in Ukraine. He called Ukraine's surrender of territories for the sake of peace unacceptable.

Soon after, Usyk addressed Donald Trump, calling on him to see the war in Ukraine with his own eyes. He suggested that he come to Kyiv and live for a week under shelling.
