In the temporarily occupied Kherson region, the occupiers are failing to prepare for May 9th in time, leading them to massively involve schoolchildren and students in cleaning memorials. Instead of preparing for exams, children are forced to participate in so-called "subbotniks" (voluntary labor days). This is reported by the Center of National Resistance of the SOF of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (CNR), UNN informs.
Details
It is noted that, specifically in the Veselivka district, students of the Novouspenivka school were involved in such work; they were sent along with representatives of "Cossack" formations to tidy up mass graves. A similar situation was recorded in Skadovsk, where students of the Kherson Agrarian University and the Agrarian College were brought out to clean memorials.
Formally, such events are presented as "patriotic education" and "honoring memory," but in fact, it is about the forced involvement of children in the preparation of propaganda events. At the same time, the occupation authorities ignore the educational process, despite the fact that it is currently the period of preparation for the end of the school year and exams,
They state that in this way, the occupiers are using schoolchildren and students as free labor to create a visual for May 9th, replacing education with propaganda.
Recall
In at least 15 regions of the Russian Federation, Victory Day parades have been completely canceled. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, events will take place without the use of military equipment.
