North Korea has recalled its ambassador to the United Kingdom, Mun Myong Sin, less than a month after his appointment. The reason was British sanctions against the Songdowon International Children's Camp, Reuters reports, citing NK News, according to UNN.
Details
According to the publication, the DPRK embassy in London reported that diplomatic relations have been downgraded to the level of chargé d'affaires until the United Kingdom lifts the restrictions on the camp.
In May, London imposed sanctions against the Songdowon camp, including it in the list of organizations that, according to British authorities, are linked to Russian youth programs and involved in the deportation and ideological influencing of Ukrainian children.
