President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the Ukrainian delegation to participate in the peace talks on the cessation of the Russian-Ukrainian war, which will be held in Istanbul, will be headed by Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that he had proposed to Ukraine to hold a new round of negotiations in Istanbul on June 2. The Russian delegation will be headed by Russian presidential adviser Vladimir Medinsky.
