Anafi Dzhemilev, the brother of the famous Crimean Tatar leader Mustafa Dzhemilev, who devoted his life to the struggle for the rights of the Crimean Tatar people, died in occupied Crimea.

Today it became known about the death of Anafi Dzhemilev, the brother of the famous Crimean Tatar leader Mustafa Dzhemilev. Anafi Dzhemilev was born  and devoted his entire life to the struggle for the rights of the Crimean Tatar people. This was reported  by the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, UNN reports .

"We have just received sad news - Anafi Dzhemilev (born in 1941), the brother of the leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev, died in Crimea occupied by Russian barbarians," Chubarov wrote .

Dzhemilev lived in the Simferopol district of the seized peninsula. Anafi was two years older than Mustafa. He read a lot and taught Mustafa how to choose the right information from a huge array of official printed materials. The cause of death has not yet been reported.
