Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated bluntly that there will be no ceasefire in Ukraine — Moscow does not intend to stop hostilities along the current front line. This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CCD), as reported by UNN.
Details
It is noted that, according to Lavrov, Russia, on the contrary, plans to intensify strikes against facilities that "ensure the functioning of Ukraine's military machine."
Moreover, Lavrov justified the continuation of the aggression with arguments traditional to Russian propaganda: "our grandfathers fought" and "defeated Nazism," while stopping the hostilities now would "erase their feat"
They recall that the Russian foreign minister had previously already declared the Kremlin's intention to continue the confrontation with the "collective West," which allegedly seeks to "dismember" Russia and "imposed a war with Ukraine on it," and that Russia is prevented from ending it by "pride."
"The Kremlin is already openly using militaristic rhetoric, disregarding elementary common sense and its own citizens. The Russian authorities are ready to send people to their deaths without hesitation in order to achieve ephemeral goals, fighting against invented Nazism," the CCD concludes.
Recall
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that Russia would act more harshly to "destroy" everything through which the West is strengthening Ukraine's military potential.
