Moldova will comply with international legislation in terms of human rights. This is how Prime Minister Dorin Recean commented in an interview with NewsMaker on the Ukrainian authorities' request to extradite men who left the territory of the country and fled mobilization, reports UNN.

The prime minister was reminded of the words of Ukrainian Ambassador to Moldova Marko Shevchenko. He said that Kiev was engaged in a “certain dialog” with Chisinau on the return to Ukraine of men of conscription age who had fled abroad.

“Ukraine has such wishes regarding all countries where Ukrainians are located. We, like everyone else, respect international rules and human rights. We will act in accordance with the laws in international law,” Rechan said.

When asked whether this means that Moldova will not extradite military conscripted Ukrainians, the prime minister said: “We will comply with international legislation as far as human rights are concerned.
