Reportedly, the situation in the energy sector remains difficult, with a significant shortage of generating capacity in the system due to massive hostile attacks.
"As of today, it is planned that the schedules of hourly outages will be in effect from 0:00 to 24:00," the ministry said.
Shelling
In Sumy region, a UAV attacked a power facility, which resulted in the de-energization of several substations and their connected consumers in Sumy and Chernihiv regions. Consumers were partially supplied with power via a backup scheme.
In Chernihiv region, as a result of the shelling of an overhead line, consumers in 6 settlements lost power at the same time.
In Donetsk region, a high-voltage overhead line was disconnected due to hostilities, which led to the de-energization of the substation and the household consumers connected to it. The consumers were supplied with electricity.
Networks status
In Odesa region, equipment at a high-voltage substation was shut down due to technological failures. As a result, several substations and the household and industrial consumers connected to them lost power. Everyone has been supplied with power.
De-energization
Due to difficult weather conditions, 14 settlements in Chernihiv and Sumy regions are without power supply.
In total, 507 settlements remain without electricity due to hostilities and technical violations.
Situation at ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is 14.86 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant, the Ministry of Energy noted.
Import and export
Imports from Romania, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary with a maximum capacity of 1,251 MW are planned for the day. No exports are planned or expected.
