German Chancellor Friedrich Merz praised Ukraine's defense industry, calling it one of the most innovative on the continent. He stated this during a meeting with Zelenskyy, UNN reports.

According to the Chancellor, Ukrainian manufacturers were able to quickly adapt to wartime conditions and create effective solutions in the field of drones, digital systems, and ammunition.

There is no military-industrial complex that would be more innovative than the Ukrainian one 

– said Merz.

He emphasized that Europe has much to learn from Ukraine.
