Former Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius joked on his X social media page about the upcoming destruction of the Crimean Bridge. The Kremlin responded to the politician's joke with threats. This is reported by UNN.
Details
Linkevičius, who currently serves as Lithuania's ambassador to Sweden, posted a photo of the Crimean Bridge on his page with an ironic joke. In addition to the bridge, the politician attached photos of a HIMARS missile launch and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
If anyone hasn't had time to take a photo on the Kerch Bridge yet, there's still time
Russia's response
In Moscow, however, they responded with threats and insults towards the Lithuanian. In particular, the first deputy permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, called Linkevičius a "Baltic American lapdog."
American lapdogs... bark madly, but will whine pitifully later, when judgment day comes, and they will regret all such mistakes
Recall
SBU head Vasyl Malyuk stated that the Crimean Bridge is "doomed" after successful attacks by SBU naval drones, which undermined its supposed invulnerability and affected Russian logistics.
