"Rescuers extinguished a fire covering an area of 2,000 square meters that broke out as a result of a Russian UAV strike on an infrastructure facility in the Boryspil district," the report states.
As indicated, rescuers from the Kyiv region and the city of Kyiv worked at the scene.
"Additionally, specialized equipment from Boryspil Airport was involved," the statement said.
