Kuwait has reopened its airspace to civilian flights, the country's General Directorate of Civil Aviation announced on Thursday, after temporarily closing the airspace in the morning following Iranian attacks, UNN reports citing CNN.

The aviation authority is "closely monitoring the situation around the clock," the statement said.
Kuwait International Airport has now returned to normal operations.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that on Thursday morning they carried out an attack targeting US airbases in Kuwait, Jordan, and Bahrain. This occurred after the US announced strikes on several targets in Iran.
This is the second consecutive day that Iran has attacked US bases in the region in response to US strikes.
