Kuleba's visit to Beijing: the US State Department told what they expect

It is important for China to hear about the losses Ukraine has suffered as a result of the Russian war from Kyiv. This is how US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller commented on the working visit of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba to Beijing at a briefing, UNN reports.

I'm not going to make any estimates of what might happen or try to assess expectations of what might happen, but I think it's important for China to hear directly from Ukraine about what losses Ukraine has suffered as a result of the Russian war of aggression, which we know China is largely fueling by supporting the rebuilding of the Russian defense industrial base

- said Miller.

He pointed out that it is important for every country in the world to recognize that there is an aggressor and a victim in this war. The world should not treat both sides as if they were equally responsible. Miller also emphasized that when it comes to considering how the war can end, it is important to keep these basic principles in mind.

"And we made that clear when we talked to China about the war in Ukraine. I know that other NATO members and European countries have also made this clear to Russia. And we think it's important that any country - and certainly China in particular - hear this directly from Ukraine," Miller summarized.
