Iran has suspended negotiations with the United States in protest against Israel's actions in Lebanon. This was reported on Monday by the semi-official Tasnim news agency, according to UNN with reference to CNN.
"Given the continuation of the Israeli regime's attacks in Lebanon and the fact that Lebanon was one of the prerequisites for a ceasefire, which is now being violated on all fronts, including Lebanon, the Iranian negotiating team is suspending 'negotiations and the exchange of text messages through intermediaries'," Tasnim reports.
Iran calls for an immediate end to Israel's wars in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the full withdrawal of the Israeli army from Lebanon, Tasnim reports, adding that "until Iran's and the resistance's positions on these issues are met, there will be no negotiations."

Tasnim added that Tehran and its allied militant groups in the region have placed on their agenda the "complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the activation of other fronts," including the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait at the southern end of the Red Sea, where Iranian-backed Yemeni Houthi rebels have previously carried out attacks on passing vessels.
