On the night of May 29, drones attacked fuel facilities in Yaroslavl. The governor confirmed the strikes and fires at the enterprises, reporting no casualties.

In the Russian city of Yaroslavl, a drone attack occurred on the night of May 29, followed by a fire at industrial fuel storage facilities. This was reported by the Governor of the Yaroslavl region, Mikhail Yevrayev, according to UNN.

According to him, the region underwent a massive UAV attack. Most of the drones were allegedly shot down; however, hits on industrial facilities were recorded.

"There was a hit on industrial fuel storage facilities. Special services are extinguishing the fire. There are no casualties,"

– the governor stated.

Earlier, authorities reported restrictions on traffic at the exit from Yaroslavl towards Moscow due to the threat of drone attacks. Later, the closures were lifted, and the drone danger alert in the region was canceled.

The large southern industrial zone of Yaroslavl is located in the area where traffic restrictions were introduced. It houses the Slavneft-Yaroslavnefteorgsintez oil refinery, the large Spetstorg Plus oil depot, a bitumen plant, CHP-3, and other fuel and energy facilities.

Officially, it has not yet been reported which specific facility was hit.
