Two residents of the Kyiv region have been notified of suspicion regarding the fraudulent seizure of an apartment in Kyiv and a house with a plot of land in the Bucha district, with a total value of 5.6 million UAH. According to the investigation, the victim was persuaded to re-register the property after his detention was staged and he was threatened with alleged confiscation by the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC). This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, according to UNN.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, two residents of the Kyiv region have been notified of suspicion regarding the fraudulent seizure of an apartment in Kyiv, and a house and land plot belonging to a single man
According to the investigation, one of the suspects gained the trust of a man who had inherited an apartment in the capital and a house in the Bucha district. Subsequently, the accomplices staged his detention: one of them posed as an employee of the TRC and SS (Social Support) and convinced him that his property could be confiscated because he was on a wanted list.
To supposedly save the real estate, the victim was persuaded to re-register it to third parties. As a result, he lost a house with a plot of land and an apartment with a total value of 5.6 million UAH.
Two participants of the scheme have been notified of suspicion of fraud committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons, under martial law and on an especially large scale (Part 5 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
All alienated property has been seized. Other persons involved in the crime are being identified.
