Warriors of the SBU "Alpha" successfully struck military support vessels located on the territory of the "Zaliv" shipbuilding plant in temporarily occupied Kerch. Air defense systems of Russian troops in the area of the Kerch Strait were also hit, UNN reports, citing a statement from the Security Service.
During the special operation, SBU drones struck the cable-laying ships of Project 15310 "Volga" and "Vyatka", as well as the cargo-passenger ferry "Petropavlovsk", which was 96% ready. As a result of the strikes, a large-scale fire broke out on them.
"Volga" and "Vyatka" were built for the Russian Ministry of Defense. Their purpose is to deploy the "Harmony" hydroacoustic surveillance system for underwater military reconnaissance. In addition, they can lay non-contact mines to strike ships, underwater pipelines, cables, and other critical infrastructure objects. The cost of each of these vessels is hundreds of millions of dollars.
"In addition, SBU drones struck the weapons and radar station of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system, which covered the area of the Kerch Strait," the Security Service statement said.
The destruction of air defense systems opens the way for new precision strikes, and the disabling of ships and port infrastructure undermines the occupiers' ability to support their group.

Ukraine is conducting a targeted operation to cut the land logistics corridor between Russia and occupied Crimea, as well as destroying enemy military facilities on the peninsula.
The military, using middle-strike UAVs, struck key Crimean bridges near Chongar and Armyansk. The strikes were carried out using FP-2 and "Begemot" drones. The bridge connecting the Kherson region with Crimea in Chongar was hit twice – on the night of June 6-7, and on the night of June 9. On June 8, a bridge leading from Henichesk to the Arabat Spit came under attack. Two more bridges across the North Crimean Canal – near the settlements of Preobrazhenka and Myrne near Armyansk – were attacked on June 11. On June 23, the Special Operations Forces announced the destruction of a railway bridge across the North Crimean Canal.
As reported by the Center for Multidomain Operations "Phalanx", for such purposes they actively use "midstrikes" from Fire Point. Notably, their FP-2 drone, which is precisely used for medium-depth strikes, has received important upgrades in a fairly short time: it can now carry more payload, and the flight range has been increased (up to 370 km). The upgrade also allows this drone to be used not just as a strike UAV, but also as a platform for launching FPV drones and unguided aircraft rockets, which makes the attack larger-scale and complicates the enemy's response to it.
