The developers of the Ukrainian computer game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl - GSC Game World - pleased fans of the franchise with another game update, as well as the release of an exclusive interactive almanac and a set of collectible cards, which can be purchased in the ATB store chain. On April 14, 2026, the "Hidden Truth" update for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was released. This update adds a new mission that can be completed in the X-18 laboratory - well-known to game fans.
In addition to the new quest to explore the laboratory, the game received several fixes. In particular, a problem that caused an excessive number of strong mutants to appear in long campaigns was fixed. New loading screens were also added.
And on April 15, an interactive almanac and a set of 48 collectible cards will be available for purchase in ATB stores.
The promotion runs from April 15 to June 9, 2026 - it is a collaboration between GSC Game World and ATB.

UNN reported that in November 2024, Russia considered banning the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. This means that players could face criminal charges under articles such as "extremism," "justification of terrorism," etc.
In November 2025, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office added the Ukrainian company GSC Game World to the register of "undesirable organizations". It is accused of financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine and "forming an image of Russia as an aggressor state," particularly through the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
UNN also reported that the developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, together with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, created a special project to warn about mine danger.
