During a conversation with the media, Heorhii Tykhyi was asked about the fact that the President of Ukraine, arriving for a visit to the United Kingdom, used the Chisinau airport. Previously, Volodymyr Zelenskyy used the Polish airport in Rzeszów for foreign visits. This question was raised against the backdrop of heightened tension in Polish-Ukrainian relations due to the naming of one of the Special Operations Forces units after the "Heroes of the UPA."
"I have seen this connection. It seems to me that it is artificial. The President's logistics are decided separately by his protocol service. Let's not politicize the issue of logistics and especially not draw special attention to it for security reasons. It's not worth it, to be honest.
