This year, the Prosecutor's Office has transferred funds and property worth more than UAH 1.5 billion for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other units of the Defense Forces, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko said on Wednesday on social media, UNN reports.

More than UAH 1.5 billion: from criminal proceedings to the needs of the front. Thank you for being alive — I always say these words to our male and female defenders. But our gratitude is not limited to words. It is backed by concrete actions and concrete assistance

- Kravchenko wrote.

According to the Prosecutor General, "over the seven months of 2026, the Prosecutor's Office transferred funds and property worth more than UAH 1.5 billion for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other units of the Defense Forces":

  • UAH 820 million in funds;
    • UAH 535 million in necessary property;
      • UAH 116 million in weapons;
        • UAH 85 million in automotive and motorized equipment;
          • UAH 3.1 million in fuel and lubricants.

            "These are not merely figures in criminal-proceedings statistics. These are resources that today help our military personnel carry out combat missions, ensure the mobility of units, and meet their specific needs," Kravchenko emphasized.

            The Prosecutor General stressed: "Funds and property seized in criminal proceedings, as well as those transferred by suspects and accused persons pursuant to plea agreements, and voluntarily paid during the pretrial investigation and court proceedings in order to be taken into account as a mitigating circumstance, are already serving the defense of the state."

            "Supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other units of the Defense Forces remains one of the Prosecutor's Office's priorities. We will continue to use all opportunities provided by law to direct resources where they are most needed today — to the defense of Ukraine. We continue our work," Kravchenko stated.
