Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico stated that the country is not a participant in the "coalition of the willing" in support of Ukraine, and reported that the French side acknowledged the error of the previous statement. French Ambassador called the situation a misunderstanding
According to Fico, he personally addressed the French Ambassador to Slovakia, Nicolas Suran, demanding that false information about the country's membership in the coalition not be spread.
The Prime Minister reported that the diplomat acknowledged the situation as a misunderstanding and assured that the French side would publicly clarify this.
Fico also noted that he did not participate in events in Paris on July 13-14, and Slovakia was represented at the Bastille Day celebration by the country's ambassador to France.
