The European Union is considering new sanctions against Chinese companies for helping the terrorist state develop UAVs used in the war against Ukraine. This was reported by Bloomberg, according to UNN.

According to the information, the sanctions list includes a Chinese citizen suspected of violating EU trade rules through his company, a Hong Kong-based company that supplied components for the production of drones in russia, and North Korean officials who may be involved in sending them to a terrorist country.
The European Commission is also proposing to tighten control over russian oil tankers to close the loopholes that allow russia to avoid existing sanctions.
These measures will be part of the EU's 15th sanctions package imposed because of Russia's aggression against Ukraine. However, their implementation requires the unanimous support of all member states of the bloc. Some states, such as Hungary and Slovakia, have previously criticized or amended similar proposals, which may complicate the adoption of the new package.
