Intercity route carriers who previously received permits in paper form can now convert them into electronic ones. This was announced by the Vice Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine – Minister for Communities and Territories Development, Oleksiy Kuleba, reports UNN.
Until now, digital permits were issued only based on the results of new tenders. Now, this option has been extended to previously issued routes – carriers can digitize the paper format,
Through the carrier's cabinet in the Ukrtransbezpeka system, an application for replacement is submitted, after which an electronic permit is generated. Changes can also be made there without submitting documents to the ministry, Kuleba noted.
According to his information, there are over 3,900 intercity routes in Ukraine. For each of them, the permit is the basic document for operation. Now it can be issued and updated online.
The electronic permit contains full up-to-date information: the route map, schedule, and vehicle data.
The first routes that have already switched to the electronic format are Poltava-Pryluky (No. 679/680) and Boryspil-Ochakiv-Chornomorska Kosa (No. 7/8),
