Donald Trump announced on Sunday that he will appoint Lebanese-American businessman Massad Boulos, the father-in-law of his daughter Tiffany Trump, as an adviser on the Middle East.
"Masad is a good negotiator and an unwavering supporter of peace in the Middle East. He will be a staunch defender of the United States and its interests," the US President - elect wrote.
Boulos has already supported Trump during the election campaign and primarily fought for the votes of Arab and Muslim voters. Many of them are unhappy with US President Joe Biden's policies in the Middle East, especially his unwavering support for Israel in the context of the Gaza war.
