The Czech Defense Ministry is studying Poland's experience in creating the Ukrainian Legion. Defense Minister Jana Černohova announced the possibility of forming a similar volunteer unit for Ukrainians in the Czech Republic.

As you know, thanks to the Ukrainian Legion, Ukrainians who are liable for military service and have moved abroad can voluntarily undergo military training.

In this way refugees will gain combat skills while in the European Union, serve in the war in Ukraine, and then be able to return to the EU country where they originally left.

We want to continue training Ukrainian soldiers, so why not include Czech citizens who identify themselves as Ukrainian and form some kind of unit
