“The most important thing is to help cool down the situation as soon as possible,” said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian at a regular briefing, answering a question about the US decision.
Lin also denied reports that EU officials had obtained evidence that Russian drones used in the war were manufactured in China. Beijing “has never provided lethal weapons to the parties in the conflict, and has strictly controlled military and dual-use drones in accordance with laws and regulations from the very beginning,” he said.
