According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of March 24, the enemy attacked with 99 Shahed-type strike UAVs and drones-imitators of various types from the directions: Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - russia.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 08:00, the downing of 57 Shahed-type strike UAVs (drones of other types) in the south, north, west and center of the country has been confirmed
36 enemy drones-imitators, as indicated, - locationally lost (without negative consequences).
"As a result of the russian attack, Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, Sumy region, Kirovohrad region and Zaporizhzhia were affected", the statement said.
