On the night of Tuesday, April 9, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 20 Russian-launched shaheds. This was reported by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk, UNN reports.
Details
It is noted that at night, on April 9, the Russian occupiers attacked:
- 20 attack drones of the Shahed-131/136 type from Cape Chauda (Crimea) and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia),
- four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the occupied Donetsk region.
Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile and electronic warfare units of the Air Force, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the air attack.
As a result of the air strike, all 20 "shaheds" in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipro, Poltava, Vinnytsia and Lviv regions were shot down.
