The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister for National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov and the Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration of Spain Elma Saiz Delgado signed a declaration on the establishment of the Unity Center in Spain. This is reported by UNN with reference to the Government Portal.
We have secured our common goal - to provide comprehensive support to Ukrainians who have found refuge on Spanish soil. Currently, more than 220,000 of our citizens have received temporary protection here, and this Center will be another step for their social adaptation, integration and preservation of ties with the Homeland
"Spain is the third country with which we have signed a Joint Declaration on the establishment of the Unity Center of Ukraine! We continue to work together for our people!", - added the Ukrainian politician.
Let us remind
Spain allocates a new package of military assistance to Ukraine for 1 billion euros, which includes armored vehicles and ammunition. The countries also agreed on the opening of a "Unity Center" for Ukrainian immigrants in Spain.
