British police have charged a 17-year-old with the murder of three girls and 10 counts of attempted murder in a knife attack at a summer dance class
The teenager, who has not been named because of his age, will appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Thursday in connection with the incident, which took place on Monday at a “yoga and dance workshop Taylor Swift” event at a summer camp for children in the seaside town of Southport.
Two girls aged six and seven have been identified as the first victims of the knife attack shortly before midday on Monday. The third victim of the horrific knife attack in Southport was a Portuguese girl named Alice Aguiar
At this point, five other children and two adults are known to be in the hospital.
Thousands of people gathered outside the prime minister's Downing Street residence in London on Wednesday, chanting “Save our children,” “We want our country back” and “Stop the boats.

Police said the attack was not terrorism-related and that the suspect was born in the UK, refuting speculation about his background.
Merseyside Police Chief Serena Kennedy said the suspect was from Banks, Lancashire, and was originally from Cardiff, Wales. The sheriff explained that the suspect was armed with a knife when he entered Southport High School, but did not provide any additional details about him
