Russia attacked Ukraine with 69 drones overnight, 37 of them were shot down or suppressed, but there were hits in 12 locations, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Wednesday, writes UNN.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of December 17 (from 6:00 p.m. on December 16), the enemy attacked with 69 Shahed-type, Gerbera-type, and other types of drones from the directions of: Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo - Russia, Gvardeyskoye - temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, about 40 of them were "Shaheds".
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 37 enemy Shahed-type, Gerbera-type, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country. 29 attack drones were recorded to have hit 12 locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
