Russia attacked Ukraine with 117 drones overnight; 102 of them were shot down or suppressed, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Friday, UNN writes.

According to the AFU Air Force, on the night of June 12 (from 18:00 on June 11), the enemy attacked with 117 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and "Parody" type decoy drones from the directions of: Orel, Kursk, Millerovo – RF, Chauda, Hvardiiske – temporarily occupied Crimea.
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare (EW) units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 102 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types. Hits by 14 strike UAVs were recorded at 7 locations, as well as the falling of downed drones (debris) at 8 locations
The attack continues; several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.
