Ukraine's economy accelerated growth in the quarter

According to the State Statistics Service, in the second quarter of 2026, Ukraine's real GDP grew by 0.6% compared to the same period in 2025. Compared to the previous quarter, growth amounted to 0.4% taking into account the seasonal factor.
Ukraine's GDP growth in Q2 2026 accelerated by 0.6% compared to the same quarter a year earlier, according to operational data released by the State Statistics Service on Tuesday, reports UNN.

According to the operational estimate, real GDP in Q2 increased:
- by 0.4% compared to the previous quarter (seasonally adjusted);
- by 0.6% compared to Q2 2025.
The operational GDP estimate is based on preliminary statistical information on real growth (decline) rates of production volumes by economic activity.
