Zelenskyy discussed the production of weapons in Ukraine by 2023, from artillery to drones, and ensuring defense capabilities against Russian aggression. The meeting set clear goals for financing the defense sector and diplomacy to supply equipment.

The production of weapons in Ukraine next year was discussed at the last meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his  evening video address, UNN reports.

I spent today's meeting - a few hours. And almost all of it was devoted to the production of our weapons next year. All elements - from artillery to drones and missiles. We had a detailed conversation on each item, a detailed clarification of the enterprises, contracts, state investments in production.

In order to to discuss the production of weapons in Ukraine in a substantive way, the meeting of the Stavka was attended by everyone "responsible for the result for the state." Namely, representatives of Ministry of Strategic Industries, Ministry of Defense, General Staff, the Main Command, and others. In particular, together with the Prime Minister, the rate agreed on the amount to be allocated to "the defense sector from the state budget on an accelerated basis.

Also The officials also discussed the tasks for the next year's diplomatic work, namely agreements with partners on arms production, supply of components and equipment.

"Absolutely all plans, a clear algorithm of actions - all the main things should be defined for our defense sector to make the next year as productive as possible. Ukraine must produce - independently or jointly with partners - everything necessary to to protect itself from any form of Russian aggression. We can provide this." -the President is confident.

In addition to In addition to arms issues, the participants of the meeting discussed in detail the current situation at the at the frontline.

Separately, President Zelenskyy thanked the Air Force  of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their good work against the occupiers in Crimea.
