Zaluzhnyi emphasized that it is difficult to predict how many more enemy casualties the war will need to inflict before it ends.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi noted during a briefing that it was a mistake to believe that the number of losses inflicted by the Ukrainian army last year could stop Russia, reports UNN correspondent.
As for the Russian Federation, I would like to say that it was my mistake to believe that the amount of losses we inflicted on the enemy even a year ago could stop it .
He added that such a number of losses would stop any country, but not Russia.
"You can clearly see what is happening on the contact line. Mountains of enemy bodies that no one is even trying to take away. There are more and more of them every day," noted the Commander-in-Chief.
He also emphasized that it is difficult to predict how many more enemy casualties are needed to end the war.
