Details
According to Oleksandr Khorunzhyi, since the beginning of Russia's large-scale military invasion of Ukraine, more than 464,000 explosive devices have been seized and defused, including 3,145 aircraft bombs.
Currently, the State Emergency Service continues to work as usual, but the spokesman noted that the snow cover does not allow for visual detection of mines, and the subzero temperature does not allow for proper disposal of the dangerous object. Therefore, when the weather worsens, pyrotechnics will be somewhat limited in their demining activities.
At the same time, the State Emergency Service continues to respond to calls from the public and come to the rescue in case of explosives, emphasized Oleksandr Khorunzhyi.
