Rescuers in the Sumy region were shelled twice while extinguishing fires caused by enemy strikes, but they managed to extinguish the flames and save the homes of civilians.
In Sumy region over the past day, on Wednesday, rescuers were hit twice under fire, when extinguishing fires caused by an enemy strike. The incident was reported by the press service of the state emergency service of Ukraine in the Sumy region, passes UNN.
The Burning occurred in the residential sector. While extinguishing the fire, rescuers were forced to leave twice urgently the scene of the incident, as repeated enemy attacks began. After the security situation returned to normal, the State Emergency Service employees returned and again we started extinguishing it.

According to rescuers, the Russians were attacked firefighters who liquidated a fire in one of the settlements Shostkinsky district. There, due to the hit of Russian shells, a fire broke out in the residential sector.
In the end, the State Emergency Service managed to curb the flames. Burning and thus save the homes of civilians.
