Over the year, the Prosecutor General's Office sent 258 cases of war crimes in Ukraine to court, 97 people have already been found guilty

Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko reported that 258 criminal cases of war crimes were sent to court over the year.

The Office of the Prosecutor General has sent 258 criminal cases related to war crimes in Ukraine to court over the past year, with 97 accused already found guilty. This was reported by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko, writes UNN.
According to the Prosecutor General, from June 2025 to June 2026, 72,295 criminal proceedings were registered and are being investigated in connection with Russian aggression in Ukraine. Of these, 68,900 cases were opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
During this period, 349 individuals were notified of suspicion of committing war crimes, and 258 criminal proceedings were sent to court for consideration on the merits. Convictions were handed down to 97 individuals.
