On the occasion of the holiday, the national flag was raised above the buildings of the regional and city administrations, as well as on the Vorontsov Lighthouse in Odesa.
A traditional patriotic event held as part of the Vyshyvanka Festival became a vibrant highlight of the celebrations: Odesa residents and city guests unfurled a 35-meter Ukrainian flag on the steps of Primorskyi Boulevard.
This year, for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Vyshyvanka Festival returned to another of its long-standing traditions — ceremonially dressing the Duke in a vyshyvanka.
