A man died in the Khmelnytskyi region while digging a well due to a landslide, the State Emergency Service in the region reported, according to UNN.

Rescuers received a report about a landslide during the construction of a well in the village of Polian, Shepetivka district, on April 23 at 11:15 AM.
"As a result of the incident, a man born in 1997 was found under a layer of soil," the State Emergency Service stated.
Rescuers carried out emergency rescue operations and "recovered the body of the deceased," after which they handed it over to police officers.
The causes and circumstances of the incident are being established.
