High Council of Justice approves arrest of Kyiv Court of Appeal judge Hlynianyi

The High Council of Justice approved the arrest of Kyiv Court of Appeal Judge Viktor Hlynianyi on suspicion of bribery; similar measures were taken against two other judges.
The High Council of Justice has agreed to arrest Kyiv Court of Appeal judge Viktor Hlynianyi, who is suspected of taking a bribe, UNN reports.
Details
The HCJ granted the motion of Deputy Prosecutor General - Head of the SAPO Oleksandr Klymenko to agree to apply a preventive measure in the form of detention to Hlynianyi.
All 15 members of the HCJ voted in favor.
Prior to this, the HCJ authorized the arrest of Kyiv Court of Appeal judges Vyacheslav Dziubin and Ihor Palenyk.
The next step is to consider a motion to authorize the arrest of Kyiv Court of Appeal judge Yuriy Slyva.
Addendum
Four judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal, who were caught taking bribes to lift the seizure of property of a private company, were served with a notice of suspicion.
As UNN learned from its own sources, these are Yuriy Slyva, Viktor Hlynianyi, Ihor Palenyk and Viacheslav Dziubin.
