Ukrainian policeman Igor Misiunya was killed during the shelling at the Kherson railway station during the evacuation. He is survived by his wife and two children.
Lieutenant Ihor Misiunya, 29, was fatally wounded during the evacuation of people from the railway station in Kherson, UNN reports with reference to the National Police.
"Police Lieutenant Ihor Misiunya was killed in a shelling in Kherson, where he was serving as part of a combined unit. The policeman was fatally wounded while evacuating people from the railway station," the National Police said.
The law enforcement officer was only 29 years old. He began his police service in 2017 in the city of Dolyna. The policeman is survived by his wife and two children.
"We are deeply saddened by the death of our colleague and express our sincere condolences to the family of Ihor Misiuni," the National Police added.
