The number of combat engagements on the frontline has increased to almost a hundred today, including the battle near Hlyboke in the Kharkiv sector, where the enemy continues to advance.
The enemy continues offensive actions. There were 99 combat engagements in the frontline since the beginning of the day. The most active activity is observed in the Pokrovske, Toretske and Kharkiv sectors. On the latter, a battle continues near Hlyboke. This is stated in the report of the General Staff as of 16:00 on July 17, UNN reports.
Today the number of combat engagements has increased to almost a hundred, 99 of them have been recorded so far. Units of the Defense Forces are bravely holding back the occupiers' onslaught and responding firmly to their attempts to advance

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy is attacking with the support of aviation, having already launched six air strikes with guided missiles. The number of combat engagements since the beginning of the day has increased to 15. The occupants concentrated all their efforts in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk. They attacked in small groups, up to the motorized rifle unit.
Currently, there is one battle near Hlyboke, all other enemy attacks have been stopped. The losses of the invaders are being clarified
The intensity of Russian occupants' assault actions in the Kupyansk sector increased . The enemy attacked the positions of our units eight times. In particular, near Synkivka, Andriivka and Stelmakhivka. Fighting is still ongoing in two locations near the latter. Terrorists fired unguided missiles at Syinkivka from army aircraft.
In the Liman sector, six enemy attacks were registered since the beginning of the day, half of them were successfully repelled by Ukrainian troops. Firefights continue near Torske and Makiivka.
In the Northern sector, the Russian aggressor continues to try to improve the tactical situation near Spirne, Vyymka, Fedorivka and Verkhnekamianske. The number of combat engagements increased to five today. Two attacks were repelled by our troops, three are still ongoing. Occupants dropped a guided aerial bomb in the area of Dobropillia.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants are storming Chasiv Yar with the support of aviation - they used three anti-aircraft guns in the town. Two more attacks, near Andriivka and Novomarkove, were repelled.
In the Toretsk sector, the number of enemy attacks increased to 17. The enemy is concentrating its efforts towards Northern and New York. Fighting continues. The occupiers bombed Toretsk and Pivnichne - they carried out three air strikes.
The enemy is active in the Pokrovsk sector today . To date, 21 combat engagements have been registered. Four of them are still ongoing near Novooleksandrivka and Karlivka. The occupants fired five times at the areas of Oleksandropol and Umansk with unguided aerial missiles.
Fighting continues in two locations near Krasnohorivka. In addition, the enemy attacked in the areas of Heorhiivka and Paraskoviivka in the Kurakhove sector . According to the updated information, a total of 12 attacks by the occupation army were registered in the sector today.
In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy twice stormed near Kostiantynivka. He also attacked Katerynivka with six KABs, and twice in the area of Urozhayne with unguided aerial missiles.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy has intensified its activities, conducting eight attacks in the areas of Novodarivka, Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka. In addition, the invaders fired about a hundred unguided aerial missiles in the directions of Huliaipol, Lobkove, Rivne, Kamianske and Pyatikhatky.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, on our footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro, the occupiers tried twice unsuccessfully to push Ukrainian soldiers from their positions.
