Ukrainian border guards rescued a man who had been wandering in the mountains for more than three days. The man was carrying a passport of a citizen of Ukraine, as well as a residence permit and a social security card in Romania.

Ukrainian border guards rescued a man who had been wandering in the mountains for more than three days. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service, UNN reports.

The man had a passport of a citizen of Ukraine, as well as a residence permit and a cash payment in Romania. 

The agency added that the man could barely speak due to exhaustion.

The only thing he said was that he had been wandering in the mountains for more than three days and had not eaten anything

Addendum 

Since he could not move on his own, border guards called an ambulance. The doctors diagnosed hypothermia, exhaustion and frostbite of the lower extremities and hospitalized the man.
