Azerbaijan is providing Ukraine with energy assistance worth more than $7.6 million, including 20 trucks with electrical cables and transformer stations to help restore the power system.

Azerbaijan will send more than $7.6 million in energy aid to Ukraine. UNN reports this with reference to the Government portal.

"Another shipment of energy aid from partners left for Ukraine - 20 trucks carrying more than 550 meters of electric cables and 6 sets of transformer stations. This is the third batch of aid that Ukraine will receive from its Azerbaijani partners to restore the power grid. The total amount of energy aid will be over $7.6 million," the statement said.

Ukraine's Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko noted that fast and high-quality restoration of power equipment during the war is a challenge for Ukrainian power engineers.

"But thanks to our partners, we can quickly restore the damaged facilities, thereby strengthening our energy security," Galushchenko said, thanking the entire people of Azerbaijan for this assistance.

In addition, companies in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovs'k, Zhytomyr, and Lviv regions received equipment.

"The equipment from Azerbaijan was also sent for the needs of the transmission system operator and the mining sector. The second batch of 37 cargoes will be distributed in the near future," the statement said.
